I always enjoy hearing from Wim Hoogewerf, about whom I’ve posted before. Yesterday Wim got in touch with me to let me know about a concert happening tonight (Friday 19 June) in Paris.

Wim tells me that all of the music for the concert was prepared in Sibelius. According to the concert blurb, 150 young musicians from music colleges and conservatories in the Clermont region are joining with the Orchestra of Auvergne for a journey through the works of Dominique Probst, who is a famous French percussionist and composer, having written for ballet, TV, film, operas, and so on.

If you happen to be in Clermont-Ferrand, the concert is at 8.30pm tonight, and details are available here.
