Student Composer Competition: one week of voting left

For the past couple of years Sibelius has run competitions for student composers in the UK and Australia. Voting for this year’s competition for students aged between 10-16 and 17-18 here in the UK is about to close at the end of December 31st.

The competition has once again seen hundreds of entries, and this year we have added the twist of allowing folks to vote for the shortlisted entries in order to establish the finalists that will be listened to by our esteemed panel of judges.

If you’re in the UK, I strongly encourage you to vote.

Some of the shortlisted finalists have been profiled by their local newspapers, which is always great to see. Read about Adam Simpson, Alex McMillan, and Clare Green.
