This coming Friday, 17 October, film and TV composers Michael Price and Jim McWilliam will be running a film composition workshop using Sibelius as part of the London Film Festival. Up to 30 school students will be able to participate in the workshop. So says the blurb:

Michael Price and James McWilliam will explain how and why a score can enrich different types of scenes using clips from their movies and others, then host a hands-on session for you to compose your own ‘cue’ using Sibelius music notation software – all with their assistance, guidance, feedback and ideas.

I’m hoping to attend this workshop myself. No doubt I’ll learn a few things!
