An enterprising blogger from Singapore, Ong Jiin Joo, has created a WordPress plug-in that makes it easy to embed Sibelius scores in blog postings using the free Sibelius Scorch web browser plug-in. You should see a little choral ditty I wrote some time ago after the jump, provided you have Scorch installed.
[sibembed score="http://www.sibeliusblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/ah_dearest_jesus_notitle.sib" /]
It’s great to see individuals contributing to the Sibelius community in this way. Grab the plug-in here.
(By the way, if you’re viewing this post on Mac OS X, you might find that Scorch appears very faint. That’s because of the way Safari and Firefox on Mac OS X render the fancy translucency in the template my blog is using. Scorch appears correctly on Windows. This isn’t a bug in Scorch, just a peculiarity of the way the CSS and Scorch interact in Mac OS X browsers.)
